Looking at https://gitlab.com/gitlab-o...and https://gitlab.com/gitlab-o...it looks like the only way to do it is installing from source sadly.

No worries, Chef was threw out errors, so I figured i'd at least make you aware. NewRelic is tracking great for me!

Thats the best bit, you don't *need* to install the gem! Its already installed. Checkout the current Gemfile for GitLab CE here (https://gitlab.com/gitlab-o...)
