What is a Namespace?

A ``Namespace`` is a “container” for all the threads related to a site.
A ``User`` may moderate and/or own none or many ``Namespaces``.

From the ``Namespace Settings`` dashboard an owner may control how
Remarkbox looks and behaves.

For example:

-  force all new comments into moderation before displaying them
-  upload or link to a custom style sheet (CSS)
-  disable the “Powered By Remarkbox Logo” in the thread footer
-  moderate any comment in the ``Namespace`` (e.g. ``edit``, ``allow``,
   ``deny``, ``delete``)
-  enable add-ons
   (e.g. `MathJax <https://meta.remarkbox.com/148121b2-b1ce-11e7-a710-040140774501/support-for-math-equations-feature-requestsolved>`__)
-  enable Slack notifications
-  download all comments from the Namespace for backups or exporting
   into a new system

You may navigate to your ``Namespace Settings`` by going to:

https://my.remarkbox.com/

From there you should see a list of ``Namespaces`` or click ``Setup`` to
create a new one.

Where does Remarkbox pull the avatar from? Is it gravatar?

By default the avatar is built in using the first letter of the user’s
display name. A user may toggle to gravatar from their user settings
page to use that instead.
