What is a Namespace?
A Namespace is a "container" for all the threads related to a site. A User may moderate and/or own none or many Namespaces.
From the Namespace Settings dashboard an owner may control how Remarkbox looks and behaves.
For example:
- force all new comments into moderation before displaying them
- upload or link to a custom style sheet (CSS)
- disable the "Powered By Remarkbox Logo" in the thread footer
- moderate any comment in the
Namespace(e.g.edit,allow,deny,delete) - enable add-ons (e.g. MathJax)
- enable Slack notifications
- download all comments from the Namespace for backups or exporting into a new system

Where does Remarkbox pull the avatar from? Is it gravatar?
By default the avatar is built in using the first letter of the user's display name. A user may toggle to gravatar from their user settings page to use that instead.

You may navigate to your
Namespace Settingsby going to:https://my.remarkbox.com/
From there you should see a list of
Namespacesor clickSetupto create a new one.
