What is a Namespace?

Russell 3y, 18d ago [edited]

A Namespace is a "container" for all the threads related to a site. A User may moderate and/or own none or many Namespaces.

From the Namespace Settings dashboard an owner may control how Remarkbox looks and behaves.

For example:

  • force all new comments into moderation before displaying them
  • upload or link to a custom style sheet (CSS)
  • disable the "Powered By Remarkbox Logo" in the thread footer
  • moderate any comment in the Namespace (e.g. edit, allow, deny, delete)
  • enable add-ons (e.g. MathJax)
  • enable Slack notifications

You may navigate to your Namespace Settings by going to:

https://my.remarkbox.com/ns/<namespace-domain>/settings

But you will need to replace <namespace-domain> with the domain that you used when you created your Namespace.
